Columbus was seriously wounded, but the soul still burns. In the past two years, GameWorks, the Palace, Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe, Eastland Fun 4 U, and Westland Arcade have all either closed or lost all the games worth visiting for. This has left us with the Dave & Buster's in Hilliard as the best arcade in town. The Polaris Dave & Buster's is newer and has different games, but it doesn't stack up to the old one. For DDR, you want Magic Mountain Polaris or the Gold Rush Arcade at Fort Rapids for their In The Groove 2 machines with custom songs. There's some other spots in town to get some gaming in, so there's a good chance you'll find something here you like. For the most part, the players here have grown tired of our local arcades and started traveling to Arcade Legends in Cincinnati on the weekends. They insist Arcade Legends makes everything in Columbus look like garbage, so I'll have to tag along on one of these trips and see this for myself.
